So how exactly does one of the richest men in the world spend his money? Yes of course, he gets himself  super cars, helicopters, private jets, yachts and all the good stuff that boys fantasize about. What if you have got all of that already? Well, then you spend a billion dollars and build the most expensive house in the world. That’s precisely what Reliance Industries head honcho Mukesh Ambani did. He woke up one morning and thought “I need a new house...a bigger one this time...naah, let me have the biggest one ever”. The result is under construction in Mumbai.

Designed by Chicago based architecture firm Perkins+Will, this super structure consists of features which will make us wonder whether he wanted to make a house or a shopping mall. A health club, 3 helipads, 168 parking spaces, mini theatre with seating capacity for 50, balconies with gardens, swimming pool, athletics facilities, 27 storeys, 570 feet tall – this is one building which will beat the pulp out of almost every luxury mansion ever built.

The first six floors have been devoted to cars alone with an in-house facility on the seventh floor to maintain all the machines in the Ambani garage. Eighth floor will house the entertainment centre which will be topped by three independent floors with balcony gardens. Ninth floor will be devoted rescue in emergencies while two floors above it will accommodate health club, swimming pool and athletics facilities.

Two floors will follow with one for emergencies and one for mechanical works. Guest floors and family spaces occupy the rest of the floors till the air space floors take over the top floors of this towering mansion. The terrace will have three helipads to top off the extravagance.
